Over eighty-five civil rights and progressive organizations from across the
state will present the NC NAACP's Fourteen (14) Point People's Agenda
which NC NAACP President Dr. William Barber decribes as "forward looking,
moral, just, pro-justice, pro-environmental, pro-equity, and pro-peace."

The people's assembly will begin at 9:30am at Shaw University in front of
Estey Hall. The "HK on J4" coalition represents North Carolinians across
color lines, across religious divides, and across the political spectrum who
have seen the power of unity around the NC NAACP's People's Agenda.
